Children between the ages of 3 months and 13 years may use the Childcare
2 hours per day limit
Parent/Guardian must stay on premises at all times
- If you need to leave to get something from your car or to do training outside please notify the childcare attendant and leave your cell phone number in case of an emergency.
- DO NOT bring sick children into the childcare.
- Your Child will not be allowed to stay if he/she has any of the following symptoms (or at the attendant’s discretion)
- Fever, Diarrhea, or Vomiting in the past 48 hours.
- Conjunctivitis/Pink Eye
- Pus/mucus draining from eyes
- Unexplained lethargy
- Undiagnosed rash
- Green/Yellow discharge from nose
- Coughing (other than as a result from increased activity, or in a teething infant)
We may call you for any of the following reasons while your child is in childcare:
- Your child needs a diaper change or assistance going to the restroom.
- Your child becomes sick.
- Your child has been crying for longer than 15 minutes and is unresponsive to our efforts in helping to calm him/her.
- Your child fails to follow the rules and is unresponsive to our efforts.
- We will give one warning and a time-out before calling you.
- We do not excuse violence. If a child is violent and puts other children at risk for injury we will ask you to remove your child from childcare for the day.
- Your child is injured in any way.
No food is allowed in the childcare room. During normal snack times (around 10am and 3:30pm) we will provide a light snack (crackers, cookies, pretzels, cereal, etc. and a cup of water) to all children in our care. It is unfair to children who did not bring a snack to sit and watch a child who has. If you cannot refrain from bringing a snack we will be happy to accept donations of healthy snack foods to give to all the children.
If your child has a specific food allergy please notify the attendant and you will be allowed to bring a suitable, neat snack for him/her to enjoy during the designated snack time.
You may bring drinks in a spill-proof container or bottle that has your child’s name clearly labeled on it.
